Backups
Where to find it: Settings → Backups
On this page
Create a copy manually
Click "Create backup." The archive will be created in a few seconds and will appear in the list with the date, time, and size.
Automatic backups
The "Auto Backups" toggle enables scheduled backups—the platform creates them automatically, without your intervention. This is enabled by default; disabling it only makes sense if you're conserving disk space (archives take up space within your plan's quota).
List of copies
The following actions are available for each copy in the list:
| Action | What's happening |
|---|---|
| Restore | Reverts the site to the state it was in when the copy was created. |
| Download | Saves the archive to your computer—you'll keep a copy even if you leave the platform. |
| Delete | Removes the archive from the server and frees up space. |
Recovery
- Select the copy of the desired date and click "Restore".
- Confirm the action in the window that appears—the platform will once again show which copy you are returning.
- Wait for the "Recovery complete" message and check the site in preview.
What is included in the archive?
- All site files: pages, styles, scripts, uploaded images and documents.
- Website database with all content.
- Project settings.
Service and easily recoverable data (software environment, logs, change history) are not included in the archive; they are recreated automatically.
Reasonable order
- Keep automatic backups enabled.
- Download a fresh archive once a month—this is the only copy that's platform-independent.
- Delete old archives if your disk space is approaching your plan limit (current usage is visible in the Balance section).
